Does anyone know if 2007-8 XKs were supplied with an owners manual in a wallet as standard. Mine apparently only came with a service record book. Maybe it was an extra that could be ordered at the time.

 

Yes. They come up on eBay pretty often.

 

If you go up to the top of the entry page to this forum about 3-5 entries down from the top you will find a sticky which will lead you to a pdf version of the owners manual for your XK. In addition you may be able to find a pdf version at the Jaguar North America site.

 

On the lead in page to this section of the forum, look at the 7th entry from the top. that entry will lead you to all of the manuals concerning XKs. They are available for download in a PDF format.

 

Thanks Ralph, I'm OK with the PDF versions and I also have the workshop manual, but what I was wondering is whether the 2007 XK was delivered with a hard copy owners manual in a folder that came with the car. I have ordered one from Jaguar at http://www.jaguar.com/owners_interna...des/index.html , but I just want to be sure that my car has never had one.

Some of the owner’s manuals on ebay are probably previous owners that conveniently forgot to include them when they sold or traded the car. I bought one there because one didn’t come with my ‘used’ car.

 

THere is an elastic band in the boot (passenger rear) that holds the packet.
