Yep that's what I'm thinking too. Find some high gloss black stuff. I did something similar with the front holes on an old car when I wasn't running a plate.

What I would do is:
Buy a wafer thin neodymium magnet, in the same circumference as the offending keyhole mechanism.
i.e:
Amazon Amazon

Cover the face with 3m white wrap

If the strength is not strong enough, just get the next size thicker.

Car is black, but the theory is sound.
Cheers!

Try a shop that does vinyl wrapping (of entire cars). They should have a cheap and easy solution to cover it over.

Very peculiar grill on that Audi.
Its 60% closed.
Never really seen anything that superfluous on an absolute performance car

Black is even easier. You can get black wrap from Amazon Japan. get a sample, its more that you need.

We should see the holes he needs to cover and they suggest more targeted solutions.

Dylan, the guy you need to try & get in touch with at Jaguar is Dave Pook. I've no idea if you'll be able to make contact, but I interviewed him when writing an article on the XKR 75 - he was part of the team that developed the 4.2 XKR, 4.2 R-S, 5.0 XKR, 75 and the 6.0 R-S, specialising in handling.

When I spoke to him, he mentioned in passing that the GT's suspension setup was his work - possibly the aero as well. I got the impression that the GT was pretty much his baby, though he did refer to it as 'slightly bonkers'. If anyone knows about the GT's suspension, it would be Dave.

I had little luck getting through to anyone at Jaguar, until I decided to get all traditional and wrote a letter to Mike Cross (Chief Engineer) - I knew that the 75 was one of his special projects. As the owner of a rare beast, you may get a bit of special treatment if you drop a line to him and explain that you want to learn more about your unusual car. It will get passed around the PR people, but you might get a result.
