Wow, thanks everyone for the tips! This weekend was awesome. I cleaned my engine today (I’ll post pics soon) and took her out for a drive. Damn pollen, now ill have to wash her. Never had a car like this and am enjoying it so far. Yes, i have taken a look in my garage just to make sure this is real! 😜. Again, thanks for the tips, i will look into these and decide. If I have any questions on the oil change ill let you know. Stay safe everyone!

Love the color, and in fact my convertible X100 XKR (2002) is nearly the same. Always love red cars! You'll enjoy it very much.

The Doctor bought a 2014, which came with a backup camera. It became standard equipment in 2012.

OOPS! Now that's a fancy version. Thanks Stuart for the correction.

I think Red means a secondary digital rear-view mirror on full-time.
Me, I think too many screens and mirrors just causes an overload. My sister test-drove something, can't remember what it was, but it had a video blind-spot screen came up whenever a turn signal was activated and it was super-annoying. Too many places to look.

Given its low mileage, the tires are probably original to the car. At 6+ years you may see the beginning of age related weather checking. Hopefully that is not the case but it is something else to think about.

Congratulations! Good find. It looks mint. These cars with low mileage in mint condition are getting harder to find.

My 2014 XKR only has 14K miles. I'll be changing the tires sometime this summer. I'll probably go with Michelin PS4. I haven't seen a thread on square tires, hummm .

Wrong. It's time for an oil thread.

I'm with you and your sarcastic humor about those new threads. Very funny because this Forum is over 14 years old ...

What hasn't already been asked and answered? Not much, but new questions will arise as our cars continue to age.

What is the remote top opener? Is it after market? The engine has to be on for the convertible hood to work , yes?

I have 2013 convertible, standard spec with about 18000 on clock.

The Convertible Top Remote Control is what the factory forgot. It's a DIY accessory that works with your Smartkey fob that was invented by Forum member WhiteXKR (Steve, The Jag Wrangler) and is probably the most popular mod with convertible owners on this Forum. I was one of the first to install it, and if I can do it, anyone can. With the optional rear window controls, you can raise and lower the rear side windows with the top up or down, which makes the cabin very calm at 70mph if you also have a rear wind deflector. See my Post #153 for installation tips:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-video-109235/

It works either with the engine off or running, from your Smartkey fob or the lock button in the door handles. Bystanders are amazed at seeing my parked XKR with the top going down with no one in the car or next to it.

That is a classy ride. I like the white interior. If you really are a doctor, it fits nicely.
