Pleasant road trip
Well we just came back from our road trip visiting friends down in Hershey Pa. Pretty much a straight shot on interstate highways. Total trip was 500 miles at between 70-80 mph and it still amazes me that it gets 23.8 mpg . Also I am still impressed that it is as quiet as it is with the top up. Virtually little to no wind noise and able to listen to radio as well as carry on normal conversations. Temps outside were 91* while at speed the water temps were at 195*. Did see max of 205* while hunting for a for lunch in a small town but this was all within normal range. We did hit a few pot holes at speed so I'll need to do a wheel check but no apparent damage . I'll need to wash the car today and look it over but it was a pleasure to drive. Got in a round of golf at the Hershey CC and took the Hershey Auto Museum tour. Great display on the "Tucker". So other then my intermittent docking with my cell phone which my dealer wants to replace the phone module but I'll get that done when I have time. Oh for those who like to cruise all I can say is my Conti DWS were a very smooth and quiet ride.
