Pretty good deal on an 09 XKR...
Wasn't somebody just asking about pricing on one of these?

CarGurus is not one of the largest sites, but what I like is it's got days on market and price drop history.

Wow, that is a lot of car for 20K. Heck, 20K for car and 10K to make sure it's tip top is still a lot of car at 30K and what car it would be with all the service done to it.
If he picked this up at auction, I'm guessing he'll think twice before doing that again...

Price-wise, I think the 'vert adds about 1500 and the R adds about 2500, so I think that it's a solid deal at 20K. (Which I'm sure they'd take in a heartbeat.)
This is NOT your typical 2009 4.2L XKR, as it is equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (as evidenced by the 2 knurled knobs on the right side of the steering wheel) and Alcon Performance Brakes (as evidenced by the "R" logo calipers and crescent-shaped grooves in the rotors). Both of these options are rarely found together, although they were standard equipment on the 2008 XKR Portfolio models. For 2009, they became options on the Portfolios and standard XKR models. As I recall, ACC was $2,000 and Alcons were $4,000.
This is a rare XKR and is a bargain, unless there are undisclosed problems.

This listing on their website has Texas plates.

Here is what looks to be the same car listed at a different dealer's website but with Colorado plates.

In my experience, legit dealers put the VIN in their adds. I could be wrong.
This just has "the place listing it is fishy" all over it.

I tend to agree that there is something about this car that stinks. I'm well aware that these Jags take a while to sell but that car has been up for sale for over a year at a great price.....and yeah, something is wrong. (I will never buy another car without personally putting my hands on it. I got burned on the last online purchase from a so called reputable dealer in Scottsdale Arizona.)
