pulling wiper arms
Hey Guys,
How difficult is it to remove the wiper arms from their posts ('08 XK-R). In other vehicles, I've needed a puller of some type. Once removing the nut, what should I expect? Stuck to the stud, or easy peasy lift off?
Doing this makes detailing that area, so much easier.
Thanks for any insight.......

The first one I tried to remove on my '07 XK wouldn't budge, so I got a 'battery terminal lifter' tool to loosen it, as I didn't know exactly how it was held on.
After taking that first one off, I determined that I could accomplish the same thing by 'rocking' the arm on the post to loosen it, which is what I did with the other arm, and it came off without having to use the lifter tool.

Hey Guys,
Wiper arm removal update....
After removing the cover cap and the nut (13mm), I gave the post a shot of PB Blaster and let it stew for an hour, or so.
Using a nylon pry and soft cloth, I applied light upward pressure while slightly wiggling the arm in different directions. Each broke loose after a little effort.
Thanks for your advice.
