Default Quack quack.

So, didn’t even ask about the duckbill when I bought the 08 Portfolio vert this weekend.
6hrs driving Sat. Another 4.5-5 Sunday.
A/C going the whole time.

Stop near home to gas up. Pump did the thing someone else complained about where it stops, but only had to restart twice.

Anyway, I finish and look down, and there is a puddle of clear, fresh liquid under the car.
Looks like it was near the outer edge of the car far back edge of the engine area, like in front of there the glovebox is.
Does this mean it is working as designed?
(for now)

Yes, that is about the right spot for the AC condensate to drip out of the duckbill drain. You appear GTG.
