As with the parts of the UK, here in Ireland the last few months rain left flooding and left people in a serious situation. In my area roads have been left undriveable. Fortunately the weather has improved and i took advantage of this last weekend. After a month in the garage i brought my xkr for a drive. O how i enjoyed it, although i couldn't get the power down due to the wet it was great to have the chance to get out. Stopped at this lovely castle for lunch and had to take a pic or two. There was a wedding party there from the day before and some tourists who had pics with the car and loved it. The rain drops did look well on the car as it was given a good waxing before i garaged it. Next day when home had to wash and wax again, back to sleep , till next outing., weather permitting.

Thanks, sold by the litre, petrol €1.25 per litre ($1.37). Diesel €1.12 ($1.23), steep.

 

Five Fifty (US) per gallon. Yep, pretty steep. 93 Octane over here (European 98 RON) is $2.30 right now. Just over half.
