Rear control arm(s) hardware
I’m getting everything ready to replace my rear upper and lower control arms on my 2007 XK convertible. The manual states that I need to replace the nuts on the mounting hardware. I can’t seem to find them online. Any idea where I can purchase them or at least what size they are? The online dealer sites that I have checked show the bolt but not the nuts. Any info would help.

All nuts and bolts on LCA are M14.
(PN below are for 2007+ until 2010/ varies)
adj to knuckle nut = C2P7324
ajd to shock nut = C2P7445
other nut = XR82682
Nuts are Flange, Nyloc. Similar to Ford W520215-S440.
Confirmed that threads are the same pitch as the Ford part but haven't measured. The nut on my XK may include a spin washer but the ford part will work fine.
Nuts on UCA are M12-1.75 C2S42340, Flange Nyloc similar to Ford W707492-S439 (w/large spin washer) or N807144-S441 (w/small spin washer)
Recommendations that I have seen allow one reuse.
If anyone knows the M14 thread pitch for sure, please add for the record.
best regards,
Bill

Just a heads up you'll need to bleed the rear brakes as the brake hose passes through the upper arms and have to be disconnected, so make sure you clamp them off and have some fluid handy .
Excellent point Steve!
Bleeding the brakes through the ABS can be a real headache!
Proper bleeding of the ABS module requires IDS/SDD or a similar tool and proper 50A+ battery support.
To avoid getting air in the ABS, the service manual calls for a special tool (I use a 2X4 with a soft pad) to depress the brake pedal while the brake lines are disconnected.
Another caution: the seat motor is very powerful. Careful not to apply too much force at the pedal.
Also, this is a great time to change the brake fluid. Since the DOT 4 fluid is more hydroscopic than previous versions, a change is even more important.
