Thermo... you said the lower front arm? From all the parts I have looked at there is a rear lower arm, a rear upper front, and a rear upper rear.
Then there are the control arms on the front of the car too.
Can you explain which one you are talking about. Maybe my information is incorrect. Just looking at a diagram from a jag dealer and they have the part listed as the "Lateral Arm". Is that what you are saying I need to change?
Thanks.

afonda, if you remove the wheel, you will see that there is an arm that is connected to the top of the rear suspension. Then you will see a large arm near the rear of the car that has the coil spring attached to it and then towards the front of the car, you will see an arm there on the lower side of the suspension. You want to replace this lower/front arm. If I can find a picture of what I am talking about, i will post it here and show you.

afonda, yes, those are the arms that I am talking about. You will see them once you get the wheel off.
JagXV6, the wearing of the rear tires can be affected by many things. NOrmally the lower arms are the main cause for the inside edge tire wear. But, if the upper arm (the one you replace with the Mazda/Volvo arm) is significantly worn, then it can lead to inside edge wear. But, that is where getting an alignment will differentiate between the two. If your toe is still out, then that is the lower/forward arm, but if your camber is out (which the shop will tell you can not be adjusted), then you need to replace the arm that I recommended.
