My rear passenger side brake light has been giving me problems for the last few years. I get the message saying it's out but it's intermittent. The bulb isn't bad. Just wondering if this is a normal problem. I know on my wife's S Type the front blinkers had the same problem. I finally found out if you bend the connectors it stops happening. I'm hoping there is a simple fix for this as well.

Try it. The worst that happens is nothing.

 

check that the contacts on the bottom of the bulb are'nt worn out I've re soldered them and it worked on my 08

 

 

Mine right side also unionized on me and only worked part time. Clean and bend the contacts to make better contact. It took me two tries but has worked ever since going on 2 years.
