Default Rear quarter window won't go up

While putting my top up today on my 07 XK, I heard a weird noise behind my head and noticed the rear quarter window did not go up. I tried resetting windows, but it did not help. I plan on removing the interior panel tomorrow to see if I can see the problem. When I put my finger on the up button, I can hear what I assume is the window motor. Anyone have experience with this?

Just bought a rebuilt regulator from Window Motor World last month and installed it. They have a great product at a reasonable price.

Man, you are lucky. I can't get either of my rear windows to move at all.

Kidding, I have a coupe.

Remove two screws and a *yoink*; you will have zero rear windows.

Just an update. I purchased a rebuilt rear window regulator from Window Motor World in Florida and it works perfectly now. I am very pleased with their work. I had them ship me the part before I took the old one out. When I was done I shipped them my core in their box and they refunded my deposit. One thing I wanted to mention was the window must be in the up position to remove or install. On mine that was a problem because there is a large white cable connector piece that got turned sideways when the cable jumped the old pulley. I had to use cutting pliers to snip the cable on both sides in order to rotate the plastic piece and move the window up to remove it. It was not easy to snip the cable - but it can be done. The replacement regulator came with a different style stud, but I used my original ones because I did not have the proper tool for the new ones - plus it allowed me to thread the nuts on to the same depth - so I only had to make slight adjustments to make sure it was parallel to the door window. Lastly, if you do this you need to be careful when you put the rear trim panel back that you maintain the proper space for the sliding piece. Jaguar has a bulletin that says it should be 89mm - but I could not make it quite that wide. If the bolt that adjusts this is not tight, the gap can narrow causing the sliding panel to stick and get crushed on closing.
