Default Remote Hood module

Just bought and fitted the remote Hood module from JagWrangler in the USA.
Allows one touch or remote opening and closing of hood.
Complete kit with excellent almost foolproof instructions supplied and if I at 66 can fit it first time, albeit a bit fiddly, anyone can.

Does it work with an OEM key or you have a separate key for a hood (remote opening)?

Could you please share a link to a particular product which you have bought?

Product works with existing fob as well as existing interior and door handle switches. So for example you can currently lock the car with 2 depressions of the door button, press it 3 times and the hood will go up at the same time as locking the car.
No longer have to hold internal roof mounted button for 16 seconds with engine running to make hood go up or down, hood now functions on a single press even with the engine not running.

About '06 -'15, XK / XKR (X150) Convertible Top Remote Control - TheJagWrangler

Import costs are £28 on top of US Dollar price with shipping about $30

There is also an option to be able to raise the rear quarterlight windows with the top down at $70 more

IMO it is probably the single best accessory you can add to your XK.
