Default Replacing door and front fender

A friend that has bought a 2008 XK asks me for help and an estimate on the work of replacing a front fender and door. He has the parts. My question is, is it more difficult than on a normal steel car? Are parts riveted/glued on, or is it a simple bolt off/blot on?

Anybody done this?

Phone a body shop near you that is Jaguar-approved to do aluminum repairs. There's a shop manual for Jaguar aluminum body repairs, if you can find it. .

I couldn't find any posts on this X150 Forum that addressed your question.

I've watched two videos of the Castle Bromwich X150 production line and the one stage that is NOT shown is attaching the front wings! Probably a combination of locating bolts to ensure correct panel gaps followed by rivets.

The outer front wing skin is bolt on, door replacement's straight forward.

Can't find the link to the videos....but both are bolt on. No techno-wizadry involved.
