Default Roof pump leak

Hi,
I have quite a lot of green oil lying just under the roof pump, can anyone advise what to look at first.
Thanks

Your bank account? Seriously I would clean everything up and operate the roof checking all connections and hydraulic systems

Hi Stuart,
Thanks for the tips, as you can tell I'm not in familiar territory. I'll re-visit but you may need to keep me right!

Welcome to the forums James,

Three essential pieces of information we ask from each member:

1. Model (OK - we know yours is an XK Convertible )
2. Year (several things changed throughout the production years of the X150)
3. Location (vehicle specifications vary across World markets)

Graham

Hi Graham,
I re-visited the page again and added more info, hopefully as I should !
Not familiar territory for me so do appreciate your assistance, what should I do next?
Thanks again,
James

James,

I've setup a forum Signature with the vehicle details you've added to your profile. This should appear with your next post.

I know Ballynahinch is in County Down but our more distant members may need a hint. You'll see I have Durham, UK showing as my Location. Ballynahinch, N Ireland would be helpful in yours.

Graham

Hi Dynamohn,
Your probably right about the bank account!
Apologies for the delayed reply, I've been away for a few days but back to reality now. As the oil has been leaking the reservoir is empty, I have been looking for information on the type/grade of oil but found more confusion than answers, have you the answer?

James,

Look in the Stickies for resources where you should be able to find the answers to your questions - Owners Handbooks, Workshop Manuals, DIY Repairs and Maintenance and more.

The Forum's Search function is above the black bar at the top of the page. Click it to reveal the Advanced Search dropdown. Advanced Search is particularly useful if you want to search by Username. It's complicated but it's intuitive and worth learning how to use.

A much faster and easier way to search this Forum is to use Google.
In the Google Search box, type Jaguar X150 Forums followed by several key words that summarize what you want to know. Press Enter and see the results.

Note that there is another similar forum without the "s". You want Jaguar X150 Forums.

Stuart

P. S. Life is all about choices. Pick one.
