Default Safest way to pop off engine cover

For you 5.0 guys what is the safest way to pop the plastic engine cover off. From the front or back or either side. Never tried it yet but just curious.

It pops straight up, I don't think it really matters where you grab it, I normal grab it from two sides and pull straight up... There are four connection points that are towards the center of the cover...

Exactly right, in fact, I just had mine off this morning. I wiped a tiny bit of silicone grease on each of the connection points to make it easier to remove the next time round.
