Hi everyone!
Does anybody in this forum have SC upper pulley removal tool to borrow or even sell, preferably in Europe (due to shipping costs)? Thanks in advance!

Don't know how it is on 4.2s/c, but in my opinion forget about trying doing it on your own. It's a pretty difficult task. Taking off an old one (which is already well welded
) and putting on a new one (you have to make it red hot and put it ideally in a proper position before it cools down).
It would be much easier with a supercharger taken off, but that is also a big task...

JEC (Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club) in the UK has a tool hire scheme for members only. Could be worth an enquiry and joining if they have this available.
Contact is Ken Jenkins on: +44 (0)1909 733209
I have no further details as I let my membership lapse many years ago.

Which is why I went for a bolt on smaller upper pulley, makes things simpler in the future, whether for me or future owner:
https://swallows-jag.co.uk/product/s...harger-pulley/
It's only 6% smaller but SS as opposed to the one that was replaced 7.5% ali
Everything I've read indicates that a SS pulley is advantageous over an ali one.
Going for a tune in the new year to capitalise on it
I do know that for the 5l you can use the pulley removal tool made for the Min cooper S, unsure if it'll work on a 4.2 though.

How much is the hire costing you by comparison?
Sometimes DIY is a bit of a false economy.

Yes, that is true. I'll see what guys from Eurotoys say, problem is they are located in USA, their rental fee is 145$, when tool is returned they refund100$, so mine expense is 45$ + shipping to EU
