Looking to figure out how to unlock reverse camera. I have SDD 1.58 and am looking to pick up a cable. It looks like I can get access for a week for $30 which should give me plenty of time to play around. However I have to choose between diagnosis or service, and I"m not sure which one it's under. Any suggestions?

 

Can't help with the SDD side I'm afraid but what hardware have to installed to make this work?

A subscription to SDD will do you ZERO good in activating the camera as the OFFICIAL version of the software doesn't allow the camera option to be changed, although it is listed in the Car Configuration File. You will need to have a special UNofficial version of SDD to change the camera option. Not even Jaguar Dealers can change that particular option to Enabled.

 

That wouldn't buy you one hour of Jaguar TOPIx time in the UK.
