Default Sealing convertible top

What would everyone suggest is the best way to seal my top on a 2014 XKR or should I just leave it alone? I have used "303" products before with good results but I'm not sure with this car.

Thanks

Why not try the search facility in the top right.

You do not want to "seal" the top. It needs to breathe. I use 303 Fabric Guard on my XKR and boat tops and highly recommend this product.

3 convertibles in a row, don't put any type of repellant on and have not problems. I have tried it a couple of times when I first got my car to see how long it lasts, wears off fairly quick here in Florida. Not being a fan of anything that adds more to my processes I stopped years ago. Considering I never conditioned my previous cars with water repellant products and never had an issue I continue the tradition proudly.

There are previous threads that discuss this extensively, if you believe that a top isn't right unless it repels water then do it, my point in previous threads that repel or not repel, either way my top is in perfect shape and still looks new. Well, except the slight wear marks at the fold.

I also use 303 Fabric Guard. There is also something called RaggTopp that seems to please people.
Just be sure whatever you get is designed FOR a cloth top and not vinyl.

Yep, also use the 303 Fabric Guard. Bought a bunch of bottles on Amazon when I first got the car and found it recommended in one of the threads here.

I also use the 303 Fabric Guard and, as recommended on a previous thread, put it on with a paint brush. Gets a good coat and don't have overspray on glass.

I'm with all of them above, 303 Fabric Guard. Type searching the product on youtube.
