Default Searching for a Kyanite Blue XKR

Hey everybody,

I am new to this forum, and decided to sign up as I figured this may be the easiest way to track down the "perfect" XKR in my eyes. I am set on getting a 5.0L Jaguar XKR after now having test driven both the 4.2L and 5.0L. Unfortunately however, I am pretty particular.

I have been tirelessly looking for a 2010-2013 Kyanite Blue XKR Coupe with Caramel or Saddle Brown interior with burl walnut wood trim, and ideally less than 40k miles. I have seen only one exactly to that spec before, but unfortunately it was already sold. I'm fairly certain this particular vehicle has remained in the South Carolina area it was originally sold in, but is still unfortunately privately owned, with no help from dealerships to track it down. So it seems that particular vehicle is out.

That being said, if anyone on this forum in the U.S. has an XKR to this spec and is interested in selling, or may know someone with this particular spec please let me know! I would love to find and own a XKR of this description!

I wish you luck as it will be a daunting task. Several years back as I was looking I only saw 2 of them for sale and both were converts. One on Fl and the other in Nv. Then again they both had Ivory interior. I have not seen one in a coupe but I suspect there is one out there. Happy hunting.

I say keep waiting and looking. There's another shade of blue that is quite close, no?

How about a French Blue XKR-S? That is the most lusted/sought after XKR model and color.

Funny as that's where I saw one just like it a few years back. Unfortunately he is looking for a coupe.

Can't be too picky with the price when one wants a specific rare colour combo

Get the right color interior, paint the exterior for $10,000 US. That's one costly paint job and still $10,000 grand to spare.

Wow, even with low mileage it is still $10-$15,000 overpriced.

I'm pretty sure that's because the ad is from 2013.

That car has been listed for a bit. Lacks the wood burl he's looking for - but its cheaper to change out the wood paneling than to paint a car!

Thank you everyone for all your help!! After a long search I was able to finally find the exact spec I was looking for earlier this year.

Now that I have mine, I’d like to know exactly just how many kyanite blue XKs and XKRs were made in the United States? From my search it seems like there can’t be more than 100 in my exact spec. It seems like one of the more rare colors, especially with the caramel interior spec combination. I would love to curate all the VINs that were kyanite blue.

Does anyone have an idea of how many were made? Anyone on this forum with one?

Thanks!
