You can write to Jaguar North America, but I doubt that they'll have color by year data.

In my experience when looking for a particular color it is worth it to look at colors you may not be considering. I was looking for a silver XKR with a tan interior. I did see one with a black interior but did not want the black interior. A dealer not to far from me had a black 2011 with the tan interior. I figured I'd go look at it and drive it cause I never drove one before but NO WAY I'M BUYING A BLACK CAR. When I saw that car in the flesh I was stunned at how beautiful it was. I drove it and I bought it. So I think you owe it to yourself to look at many options. Good luck.

Not a bad approach but it all depends on what your priorities are. My approach was based on color which 3 were acceptable . Next was model type followed by year. Then it was low mileage car with records and if possible a one owner car . In my 6 month search the most popular colors were the same as any other mfg. colors . That was black , white , silver and gray. Any other was a low volume special order . Once again it's all in each priorities.

well said. Specificity is part of supply and demand. There are plenty of XKs for sale out there, but how many are going to meet every specific detail? Very few, unless you ordered it new. Its like wanting to meet your doppelganger. We all settle for something once you take the first drive on the right car with the wrong color or wrong wheels or wrong interior, because the truth is, the car spoke to you. Otherwise keep getting more specific, and buy a new car built for you, and then sell it to your doppelganger. 🙄

I looked at a Kyanite blue 2009 and was REALLY keen as it was the closest colour to my old X100 Antigua.

But it had no DAB, or reversing camera, so ended up spending £10k more for a 2014.

I defo was not in the market for a white car but there were only 5 available with the quilted sports seats

1) 2 x black, I live by the sea and seagulls love crapping on my Audi
2) 1 x Red, NO as felt I'd have to carry a glove box full of sweeties!
3) 1 x Stratus Grey - this was my fave but a convertible and sadly have no hair to feel the wind in!
4) 1 x Polaris white which was £7k cheaper than it's nearest competition as dealer didn't know what they were selling

So in my case I bought a colour I wasn't anticipating, was considering getting it wrapped in something close to Kyanite (£1800) but have gotten used to it

There you go as you set your priorities as DAB , reverse camera and quilted seats. And you even paid more for it so I would say you got what pleased you . Good choice and enjoy the ride.

Thanks! It has the caramel interior with burl walnut paneling. Previous owner took very good care of it, only 19k miles when I purchased it

And also the facelift with headlamp washers in the bumper as opposed to corner of the lights which (IMO) makes it look like it has cataracts.

They didn't do the kyanite with the facelift to my knowledge...more's the shame

Absolutely knock out and this is the facelift front end. Except for the windshield washers.

Can’t stop looking at your car! i have a lighter pine looking veneer in my car. I have always wondered how many cars came with it.

You mean headlamps not windshield?

The facelift has the washers built into the bumper, this one doesn't, also the side vents are vertical where they are horizontal on the facelift until end of production

Plus the facelift has no amber bulbs to be seen at the front

All very weird if a UK 2010/US 2011, so suspect this is a 2009 pre-facelift?

What do you mean by 'facelift', post 2009 5.0 litre cars or post 2012 5.0 litre cars because both had a facelift from the previous model.
