The plastic cover on the driver's side of my 2009 XKR seat belt buckle broke. Dealer will only sell a complete assembly for $290!!! Does anyone know if this is a Ford or Volvo or some other Ford family product?

Same problem but in my case both buckles broke, driver and passenger on my 2004 XKR. I have been keeping an eye open for used ones but with out much luck. In the interim I have purchased a couple of very short seat belt extenders which makes buckling up much easier and saves additional ware and tare on the existing buckles.

From what I have gleaned on this forum their replacement is not that difficult if you can only find them. Some one in this forum equated many of the jags as models, very pretty but a lot of overhead.

There are many Jaguar dismantlers with plenty of X150 carcasses all over the country. I'm sure they'll have the part available. And rikki tikki, scanning ebay, I saw a number of X100 seat belt buckles available. But you can also call a dismantler and find it.
