He said he made a typo- he bought his car in 2014.

 

He did, but it was four years old when he bought it I assume. In his first post he says he acquired it in May 2010 that was the typo.

 

You assume right, I assumed wrong I think.
It only affects the part of my discussion that it was Jaguars New recommendation.
But it still might be.

 

Just a point here I took the car out to the golf course today and looked at the sticker that the dealer put on the windshield after my last oil change in April. It was changed at 15,400 miles in early April this year. They projected I would need an oil change on 8/11/16 at 22,900 miles. 2012 XKR . Just sayin

 

And Jiffy Lube sticker will likely say every 3,000 miles, that has no relevance to when it should need a change
