Default Shiny dash

I realize I might be going against the grain, but is it just me or does anyone else find the sunshine reflecting off the shiny wood dash trim annoying. I was wondering if there's any kind of polish that would leave a more "semi-gloss" finish. I could steel wool it I suppose...

I am annoyed by ALL the reflecting on a sunny day. In days past I'd put a flat black wooly dashpad on top the dash and that took care of it. I won't do that on the Jag though, too ghetto.
I have found that my Serengeti sunglasses do a bit of good, but not anywhere near ridding all of it.
I just deal with it now.
Oh, and ensuring the INSIDE of the windscreen is super clean also helps a bit.

I can show you how to get a matte finish that is reversible. As in removable. Matte paint protection film.
However, with a convertible you need to invest in the best pair of polarized sunglasses.
I use Serengeti, for my coupe.

With a coupe, my wood surfaces don't bother me, but all the dang fake chrome in the center console (especially the gear selector area) is just down right annoying. II find myself driving with my hand to the side just to block the reflections. I've thought about pulling it apart and trying to wrap some of it, but it looks like a complex task to hide all that stupid fake bling. My '07 used a matte finish on the buttons, and very little chrome in the console to stab at your eyes.

Anyone addressed that yet?

You know, glare from the wood and chrome dash bits doesn't bother me much, apart from an occasional direct sun reflection off the gear puck.... I do have tinted windows however. I will also say the glare off the Caramel leather dash didn't bother me until someone on here was complaining about dash glare. Now it's all I see!!!!

It’s on my list... I already wrapped the wood pieces with a matte black brushed aluminum look... I replaced my puck with the leather topped puck, which is a huge improvement... I plan on doing something with the chrome bezel and e-brake handle at some point... the glare from all these items drives me crazy...
