Default Sirius installation question...

We just picked up a 2007 XKR that does not have Sirius installed. I can get an OEM Sirius module, and the whale tail antenna fairly cheap. Since the car didn't have Sirius originally, does anyone know if the wiring is there, and if the head unit is compatible? Appreciate any help.

I wonder if the same procedure can be used for the 2012 XKR-S Conv, which didn't come with Sirius even as an option. I'm hesitant because there has to be a reason Jaguar didn't offer it on one specific model in the first place?

That was pretty much the info I needed. Thanks very much for posting it!!. Since I have the premium audio, it looks like one of the harnesses is different, but I think I can figure that part out.

Cheers!

The convertible will be much easier to change out than the coupe. I got the harness numbers for the convertible straight from my mom's car. She was a good sport about letting me rip it apart!
