Hello all, I bought my 2010 XKR for a weekend car, but I can't seem to keep my *** out of it. I have been desperately trying to join Sirius, but when I call them, they cannot locate my vin. When the car was new, was Sirius automatic, or did customer have to join separately? My car has the satellite, but it shows Sirius: but no numbers after. When I call Sirius, they are worthless. I took to my Jag dealer and they show car is set up for it, but don't show any data. They wanted to start troubleshooting. That's an open check and I won't do. I have no idea what to do next. I live on the California coast and radio gets spotty. Thanks in advance. p.s. I'm surprised I'm not writing this from inside my car!!!!!

 

Locate your SIrius module in the boot and locate the actual Sirius number located on that unit. Sirius will use that to locate, assuming that your Sirius aerial is still connected.
Do NOT give Sirius your actual phone number though, they will sell that sucker and you will be inundated with SPAM calls and texts for years. Ask me how I know.

Isn’t the Sirius number also presented on the Centre console display? Mine is.

 

The number is SUPPOSED to display, but sometimes it doesn't. I had that problem in my XK8 and had to find the module number to activate it.
