I thought Paul Kersey was an Architect. At least originally... I've not seen the remake.

In the awful remake he was a doctor, but he may have just been moonlighting.

I live about an hour southeast of Memphis, TN. The last time my wife and I went to Memphis, a dude was shot and killed in the driveway of a Doubletree hotel beside the hotel we were staying in. The dude laid in the driveway of the hotel for at least four hours with two patrol vehicles standing by. The whole time I was thinking "where are the detectives and crime scene techs to process the scene?" Come to find out, it was the 7th homicide that night and detectives and crime scene techs were busy processing other scenes. Nowadays kids and young adults carjack as a way to pass the time, and people lose their lives trying to fight for what belongs to them. So no offense to anyone who lives in a big city, but I'll like my small town just fine. I can visit to get my fix.

So I did submit some receipts, talked to the adjuster. Got a higher payoff amount. Should all be resolved by Friday, and I'll let y'all know....

There's a really nice 2011 R Convertible with 44,000 miles in Carmel for $29,800 on Autotrader right now. It's white though, so not your style?

Yeah I'm not a white car guy, but thanks for looking out! On the other end of the spectrum, there's a terrific black 2014 R convertible with about 20K miles on it in Ventura, about an hour from me.
It's way overpriced now, my opinion. Might wait a couple of months and see what happens to that one....

You're talking to someone who was found "at fault" (I wasn't) in an accident with over $5,000 worth of damage. Unbelieveable increase, almost 50%. Hoping this isn't as hard a hit but we'll see.

Bill it to the DA for his lack of keeping this scum locked up.

Default Get out of big cities.

Are they blaming carjackings on the pandemic? Give me a break.

Well at least they didn’t blame gun laws this time. 🤷‍♀️

Probably because it didn't make national news.

Good point nonetheless.
