Default South Africa nav update?

Not sure if anyone here in SA has updated the nav? Mine is hopelessly out of date, as in the building I live in is not even listed and I know it’s been here at least 10yrs! Mine is MY 2013. Where do you insert the dvd if there is one to update? I’m guessing not in the audio cd slot…

I think you will find that maps are no longer prepared for your 11 year old car.
you can confirm this at navigation.com

If you have the dvd based model, its in the boot, on the other side from the battery.
Else, you may have the “memory based” version that installs the map from an usb.

Think all X150’s are DVD based.
Don’t know if Volvo made any disks covering SA, but if you can locate a set, it might get you a couple years newer.

According to maps.com they are usually produced up to 5yrs after the MY which would give me 2018. I suspect it’s never been updated so I would love a 2018 map. Any ideas where I could get one for South Africa?

The nav dvd wouldn’t be on the opposite side to the battery in my vehicle as my battery is in the centre kinda under the back shelf.

(incidentally was in the shop the other day and some poor soul had stored tools in the boot well next to the battery. A tyre iron slid across onto the battery terminals and took out at least 2 ecus according to the mechanic.)

The newest ANY disk I've ever heard of is the 2015 Volvo disk. I'm unsure of any countries/areas covered.

Would any kind soul be able to provide a Jaguar part number for the latest South Africa nav disc set? I assume they’re not made anymore but it would be easier to get the dealers here to look for old stock maybe if I gave them a part number.
thanks
Alan
