Default Squity noise in dash area

It is metal to metal, more toward the driver's side. I have opened the whole dash and don't see any metal areas at all. Anyone has any input? Thanks, EZED

Default Stop that noise!

I have had the very same elusive noise.
As I have been advised and solved the exact same problem.
It is the rubber mounts above your shocks.
I am going on round 2 on my 99 xk.

I still don't know what SQUITY means.
Squeaky? Nah. Too many misses.
Squishy? Doesn't fit.
Squawky? Can't see that work.

I reckon the choice of words to describe the concern may be the problem? And there's plenty of metal inside the dash but most squeaks on the X150 were plastic on plastic and rectified using felt tape. Also not certain why someone would tear a dash part to find a squeak. Then someone responded with clunking front XK8 struts to further the consfusion...
