Still dripping after tube fix

I found the fix for condensate drain in the archive but I still get drips from around the blower motor. Maybe bad gasket? Anybody else get this result? I drilled In the same spots as the pics.

I seem to recall seeing that, while some people have had success with the self-installed drain, others still find some water accumulation. So it's not always a 100% fix.
