Default still a newbie with questions on AC

Dear All,

thanks in advance for any advice. Guess I need to go to the dealer but am open to troubleshooting myself. The other day I had condensate from the AC leaking in the passenger footwell. Now the AC does not seem to come on at all (I can't actually tell if I can hear the compressor kick on) when in auto mode, and the interior cabin fan does not seem to work at all now either. I pulled the rear seat and driver side fuse panels and pulled fuses, and they seem to be OK. Not sure what is going on. Plus the parking brake is not working and the reset procedure in the manual was not effective, so perhaps a trip to the dealer in order? Any advice appreciated. Best, Reg, 2007 XK coupe with 60K miles.

Welcome again . Go to the search function for fixing the duck bill drain for the AC system. Sounds like you fill up the lower duct with condensation which caused the fan or fan module to short out. Others who have had this problem will chime in and discuss their experiences. Good luck.
