Hmmm, I did a search for this topic and nothing came up then I started a new thread and this comes up after my posting. Software!?!?!?!

Both times this happened to me the car had been in the stopped position for more than a few seconds; so it wasn't operator error. My foot didn't touch the accelerator pedal.

I suffer from neuropathy from the chemo almost ten years ago and I don't feel things like I used to but it's not that bad that I can't tell where my foot is.

Sorry, your car will not accelerate without pressure on the right pedal. It may be pressure on the BOTTOM of the pedal, that's what happens to me on occasion.

To update my original posts on the sudden acceleration issue: Since checking and finding slightly low voltage at the battery cables and removing and cleaning them thoroughly, there have been NO incidents of sudden acceleration in the car. I guess according to some people I must have just now learned how to drive after 72 years...
