You're absolutely correct. I wasn't going to argue with him and it's not worth $1,000 to me. He made my car whole and returned it to me in the same or better condition. I understand them not wanting to return it because it could be fixed; however, a gift card would have been nice for putting me through this. If I never inspected my car when they returned it to me I would not have picked up on the damage.
