Default Switching odometer from miles to kilometers

I used to have it in kilometers but somehow it went back to miles. I am referring to the info given, by pressing the tip of the windshield washer arm. Either setting can be shown there. Going into the radio screen for vehicle settings and doing the switch there, doesn't affect the odometer screen. There is another way of doing it. The Brits should know.

From my Owner's Handbook:

Or you can simply look at your speedometer, which includes dials for both mph and kph.

See the Preferences in your touchscreen display.

If you try to replace your instrument panel with a unit from another vehicle, you might have problems with resetting the odometer. I recall reading that the X150 stores mileage data in several different modules, and if they don't agree the car won't start. That's how the factory prevented fraudulent mileage rollbacks.

:-) I'm always popping over the border. Switching back and forth is common place for me.
What's funny is I was in middle school during the change from imperial to metric... as a result I think in kph and mpg... argh.

I have changed the functions in the digital display, but the odometer remains unaffected. Next I will try the "house" button on the display control panel as seen in the picture.
