Default Is there aftermarket

I was just wondering if there are any aftermarket suppliers of aluminium body parts. I've never seen any so are all fender or door or hoods either from Jaguar or from a salvage car. Just asking as I don't need any but was curious if there were any.

I've not heard of any. It would be unusual to get into making pattern parts for such low-volume models until they become valuable classics. There are still panels available from Jaguar, so it isn't worth tooling up to make copies. I guess things will be different in 40+ years when the XK is as old as the E-Type is now (assuming the electronics have survived!)

With the cost of tooling , I don't think anyone has jumped into it.
I've debated making tools for carbon fiber replace fenders and bonnet pieces. The 5000$ price tag for a factory hood to mold from has held me back though

For low volume, the cost of the presses and molds is very prohibitive. You could be in for several hundred thousand to make a few parts. Your alternative is to hand hammer. (Not always consistent.)

This is why most aftermarket body parts are in fiberglass - foam or plywood mold that is much lower cost to make. Carbon fiber is similar in mold cost to Carbon, but requires very good ovens.
