It appears my son will very soon own a 2007 XKR, he has a down payment on it, to pick up when the front suspension bushings are replaced sometime next week.
I don't know what price he negotiated, but it is evidently the lowest cost one, unwrecked and in good shape, in the country. (now I sound like Hoovie)

XKs and especially XKRs have gone way up recently, more so than other used marquee names (I watch quite a few). Good to see appreciation finally come their way. Jaguar made a really nice car and no one cared.
Where do you watch XKR prices? I really only know of cargurus
I disagree. Edmunds and KBB are WAY off nowadays. Best way is to find what all the recent sales have been. Completed listings on eBay are good, but not really a vast array of info because Special Vehicles. For Sale listings are about the only way, with reasonable tempering.
Wholesale vale yes...But this kid doesnt sell anything wholesale. I would check Cargurus, FB market place for local comps, then take a few bucks ff for a quick sale.
Who would pay retail for a car that is not an auto dealership? Private party should be just a nick above wholesale at best.
