I just walked in after driving to see the 2010 XKR coupe. Unfortunately, it was evening so I couldn't see the body in the daylight, however, it looked immaculate, the seats seemed to have no visible wear, and I had a chance to drive the car. It felt quite tight, tons of power, just stunning, in person. I told him, I'd let him know tomorrow as since I'm working in San Luis Obispo in the morning, I thought I'd take a look at the 2009 Portfolio Model mentioned in the earlier post. I had a couple of concerns. First, I noticed a small puddle of water under the car. It touched it and it was clear water, no oily feel, and we did have 4 days of rain in L.A., I mentioned it to the owner, and he said he's never had any leaks, and that he had the car washed today. Second concern, after briskly accelerating (not flooring it, but giving it plenty of gas), after pulling off the gas, there was a slight rattling sound. Again, I mentioned it, and the owner says that he had exhaust tips and rear sections of exhaust pipes powder coated black (along with chrome trim around windows), and that the exhaust straps were improperly replaced. I will take it to my mechanic for a quick check, probably Wednesday, but I fear I've been smitten. He also has an offer sheet from Car Max, who offered to buy the car from him at $34500.00 which he didn't accept. He is asking $38000.00 and is going to lease a new Porsche 911 with the proceeds. I'm getting nervous!!

I have the feeling you will fall in love with the 2009 XKR Portfolio Edition.

With those low miles, it has to be beautiful. Keep in mind it was a special edition color, Shadow Gray, and only 180 of them exist in the USA.
