Default Tie rod boots

I have to replace front shocks and some deteriorated boots. I've searched the forum, plenty of posts about upper ball joint boots, but have been unable to find info on tie rod boot size. FYI, the car is a 2007 XK, only translucent boots in the front are the upper ball joints and tie rod ends, the rest are black rubber; in all the service records I have, from new to 2015 are complete, partials since then, no record on suspension work. Is that the norm? Thanks

The complete tie rod ends I used last year with good result on my 2007 were from amazon, and are still listed at $46. Probably worth doing the entire tie rod end if they are original. Easy job. I bought a boot assortment, also from amazon and used it on drivers side upper arm with no issues. One tip - rather than fighting the boot clip, just cut the old one off and wrap and twist wire to retain it on. Some use zip ties but the wire is better, in my opinion My rear suspension stabilizer bar links were also bad, so I also did those. Worth checking on our car's age.

Don't reboot! haha. Change the tie rod. Rockauto has a closeout for $4!
