I own both....2009 Jaguar XKR Convertible and new 2014 Porsche Cayman 981.

I give the Jaguar a better rating on overall style and class.

I give the Porsche Cayman 981 a better rating on performance and handling.

The re-design of the Porsche Cayman 981 is awesome and in many ways out classes the 911. Rating on the car are very high for
the price point of the vehicle.

I would suggest that you drive both.

For a real 2 seater sports car, you can't beat the Porsche Cayman 981.

For a beautiful road car with lots of class and larger feel on the road, the XKR rocks.

I love both and many times it is a very hard choice of what to drive between the 2 cars.
