Default Tire pressure

What is the correct tire pressure for the 19" tires on a 2010 XK. Owner's manual says 30 front 33 rear. Inside car door label says 33 front 36 rear. Which one is correct? Thanks all.

In truth, there is no "one" magic number. Door plaques and manuals are to give you a "close approximation", but the number varies according to tire brands, materials, and construction

The 2011 Jaguar Vehicle Specification Guide says 33/36.

My 2007 XK Owners manual says to look at the plaque on the drivers door opening. The plaque says 30/33.

My downloaded 2007 XK Workshop Manual says 30/33.......Front 30, rear 33.

My 2009 XKR says 30/33, and that us what the tire dealer filled just yesterday with new tires.

Be advised the tire pressure numbers are when the tires are considered COLD.

Let the car sit overnight then fill up to recommended air pressure prior to driving. I am sure in Florida, the tires will reach a heat cycle quickly once you get rolling.

Do you have a 2010 XK Owners manual that came with the car?

Hope your enjoying the XK and sounds like you are carefully going over the entire car. Good job, Boca.

That's what I am using, but any lower in the front and it the steering gets too light feeling IMO. I can tell immediately when the pressure is done.

Thanks Richzak for your positive energy! I have put maybe a little over 100 miles on the car and am gradually getting familiar with things. Yes, I have the original owner's manual, all service booklets, all different tire manufacturer warranty info + the original MSRP manufacturer's window sticker . The books look like they were never opened. I currently have it at 33/36 which realistically should not matter in the short run, but I will ask Jaguar during my next visit. I am planning on bringing the car in to sort out the rotor issue(shuttering on braking) and am contemplating on replacing all the tires(even though they still have 75% of tread left) due to the front tires being feathered. It's a fairly new car and I would like to start out with everything the way it should be as if I were buying it new. I'm **** and that's how I am with my cars.
