Torn between 2 XKR's which would you choose?

I had them in my second XF and found the sensation of air being blown on the back of my legs to be quite unpleasant, like someone standing behind you breathing on you, so I only used it once. Maybe if the car had been sitting out in the sun or a 'vert it would be more useful? It isnt air conditioned, on my understanding, it is just a fan blowing air.
This involved me removing the cams and sending them away for reprofiling, from memory cost £600, then had the latest chains/tensioners but that was 9yrs ago and all the paperwork went to the breakers that I sold the car to (

The in-built fan blows air over the Peltier cell and into a liner in the related cushion or backrest. The heated or cooled air then flows out of holes in the liner, and through the seat pad and seat cover.
Shame. If you had persevered with it you would have discovered that you can also choose whether to just cool the backrest or backrest and base of the seat. You can therefore stop cold draughts on your legs if you are wearing shorts. It also has a range of cooling levels.

If they had, I doubt I would have chosen it even if Bentley had covered all of Crewe in quilted lambskin sewn by virgins.

*By example I could never have a car with ivory interior, to me regardless of the exterior colour I think it ghastly, Ideally blue as an external colour would have been my choice for a 2013+, however I could only find one:

But to me the interior was hideous/anathema and I'd simply not enjoy it when driven...which are cars should be

ooooh a rare disagreement...I had ivory (seats), oyster (doors and dash), and walnut (woody bits) in my first XF and the interior was just gorgeous, very clubby and classy. I have seen it tried in audi's though, and it looked awful and cheap.
One thing about ivory seats though is that they make the window tint look lighter so if you are after privacy they arent ideal.

As I suspected....each to his own*, personally I think the quilted lifts the interior from an 'old fat mans car' to one more befitting the younger more svelte driver/poser

Different Strokes For Different Folks
Jaguar offers a variety of colors because its customers have different tastes. One is not better than another; they're just different to appeal to different buyers.
This is Ivory and Slate leather interior with Rich Oak veneer.
The old Marilyn Monroe movie said that "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", but brunettes and redheads are eyecatchers, too. Some might not like gray or white, but regardless of color, we all agree on a beautiful body, particularly when topless.

I'm a little torn here as the color combo here looks great but based on my experience with a white interior in my Lexus I wouldn't get one again. This is where the heated/cooled seats have a negative effect. It seems that the perforations in the seat skin tend to get dirty and cannot be cleaned which makes them standout . Although charcoal is not a great color it tends to hide more dirt then the light colors. Now my ideal color would be london tan or something similar. As to the diamond stitching regardless if it is a Bentley or RR to me it is old school and conducive of an old gentleman's car (which I am one) but not to my taste. We all have our own style so what makes you feel good is all that counts. Enjoy the ride.
2) A self confessed one invariably isn't, the same applies to self confessed 'ladies' which I find hilarious advising them of when I ask a female her age! Also you're American so couldn't possibly be true!!

Arrived this morn at 8.30
After a clean and fitting of MPS4's and growler nuts/lugs...and omg do they make a difference!
One thing I would say is that this car's paintwork has really been neglected, nothing that can't be cured with a claybar, ferrous treatment, machine and hand polish and paint sealant...which it's booked in for next week
4 wheel alignment and aircon recharge tomz as an off work!
Car now on CTEK conditioning charge as it appears to be the original battery from supply in 2014 and since the last MOT in Feb 18 it's covered just 400 miles in 8 months, luckily I've a 4 month old 19 that's been on charge for the last 3 months in the garage, if things fail

Interestingly today I took my car to a jag independent called 'Swallows' that is less than 5 miles from me (those in the know will appreciate this is the name of the original sidecar company)
I've used them for 13yrs on my X100 and there work and rates is superb...never overcharged me for any work quoted for
So their opinion is that it DEFO is a Dynamic R spec underneath.
I then took my car to an alignment specialist, renowned in the Merc world, they were a little confused by my car as stated it was lowered with different springs and shocks from a standard XKR
A call to Jaguar confirmed that it had XKR-S suspension (I think this was standard on the Dynamic)
Also can any XKR/Dynamic owners confirm that their shocks are Bilstien?
Alignment was done and underneath pics before and after...quite a bit of surface rust which I may well have to see to...this is England (not the New variety) after all

Agreed as it looks like the standard exhaust with the back box removed. No X-pipe but just the 2 stock resonators. Don't know about the shocks but looks like they had been replaced. As for the springs I suspect if the shocks were changed someone altered the springs as well. Somehow it doesn't look OEM under there so hopefully someone with a dynamic R would chime in. Here is my stock 2012 XKR OEM performance active exhaust (PAE) as a comparison.

I pretty sure I read somewhere that the PAE was still just an option on the Dynamic R's, so assuming that this one did not get the PAE, there should be two resonators and obviously the back box... So it looks to me that the PO removed the XKR mid-pipe and put in a mid-pipe from a standard XK to remove one resonator, had some sort of H-Pipe fitting welded in and removed the back box completely...

Weird that they would charge so much more for taking more expensive components away??
