I’ve lived with the errant check: lf, rf, lf, rr tire pressure for years. I never replaced all the sensors at one time, but they have all been replaced within 36 months of each other. Reading many stories @ tpms error messages left me skeptical that it was a sensor issue.
This time, I had to replace several bent/cracked wheels along with two tires, I decided to replace all of the sensors. The sensors were tested prior to installation. Discount Tire was satisfied with the voltage reading and installed them.
I drove home, the errors disappeared and I thought: WOW FINALLY!!!!!
The next day I drove around 30 miles and as I returned to my garage a tire pressure not monitored warning came up.
The following day that warning went away followed (not immediately) by the blinking christmas tree of each tire being low of pressure.
The car is a 2008, the front bumper does not have the wires pinched, the antennas appear to be in one piece, wiring looks ok but I haven’t probed them to check for continuity etc. Yesterday only one error popped up for a few seconds and went away.
Without spending any money (but effort is okay) is there anything else I can check that might be the cause of these messages?
I recall that many moons ago I read that there was a software update for people complaining about this and dealerships could/would/and did update something that solved the issue.
Can anyone shed light on this?
If I’m out of ‘free of cash’ fixes I will be back to having some (unknown) person turn this system off once and for all and I’ll add an aftermarket sensor kit.
Any useful input is appreciated.
And for those that need some eye candy, I still think this is a great looking design.

I seem to remember that the Mr12Volt screen mod can have a TPMS program installed on it, but am unsure. I've been seriously considering that M12V thing, and the TPMS may be what kicks me over the threshold.
My on-car TPMS has been disabled for a couple years now, after changing everything but the wiring.
Post new tires and very hot days, the warning for each tire rotated around the pictogram. Went up to 41 psi for a few days then back down. Warning is less frequent and days are cooler. When I have time again, I will switch the TPMS module with a used identical copy. For now masking tape hides the little yellow tire light.
I disabled my TPMS using Autologic awhile ago…like you, tired of false warnings. Installed internal Bluetooth 5.0 sensors and added the iTPMS app to my iPhone. They work great, easy to see in CarPlay…I do have Mr12Volt…

I’m more interested in the gauges app which is on iPhone now. That shows coolant temp and such.
but TPMS would be good too.

What sensors did you use? Make, model, and where from?
I am at the point of disconnecting the battery and tilting the fuse box forward to access the TPMS module. Am planning to note the many digited unit number, and then try and clean the contacts. If that fails, then will order the replacement from Ebay....

I await your outcome with high hopes.
I'm still getting error messages but they clear more quickly. (new sensors+new agm battery)

Disconnected battery and removed the rear seat fuse control. The TPMS module is on the right. Pulling lightly on the connect was successful. Then I sprayed it with contact cleaner and shoved it back in until it fails again. But now I can match the model numbers,
to find an Ebay replacement. My first attempt to load pictures!

Still the module is searching the tires for an answer. The tires are transmitting, and the module is searching so possibly the antenna is not receiving the signals from the tires. I cleaned the contacts on the antenna and let lie on the back seat, away from the fuse box and its magnetic field. Time will tell.

The warning is les frequent with the cooler weather. I removed the antenna for a try out, but the system protested the removal. I may try a couple of modules off an 08 Land Rover in the scrapyard near here. But coming up is......
On the 24th, the Montreal Jaguar Club (FB) has a slow rally scheduled for Vankleek Hill, Ontario... A vineyard, a brewery, a farmers market and discount shopping (booze) are the points of interest.
I perused this thread and didn't notice anything about the TPMS initiators inside all four wheel wells. TPMS won't work without those operating correctly.
