Transmission Questions
I am not convinced about this. I suspect the car is just adapting to the 'spirited drive'.
Jaguar wouldn't waste 5 minutes on a procedure like this, they normally just have a hidden sequence of button presses to reset stuff. Time is money.

No problems since and I don't even notice gear changes
I shall still be having my fluid and pan changed this year but will be using it again after that's completed, as it can be used repeatedly on the same vehicle.
A bonus as got it on a black Friday offer for significantly less than the sticker price

I'll be dropping the pan soon and after replacing the filter/pan + rubber fittings & filling I'll drive it a bit to be certain all is okay then I'll do this reset.
