Default Trip Computer - Engine Oil Level

On page 57 of my manual, it talks about the trip data that is displayed as you press the trip button. The manual says that "engine oil level" is one of the things that's displayed. However, I don't get that on my car. I get digital speed, odometer, average fuel consumption, average speed, and range. Should I be getting engine oil level as well, or is that a mistake in the manual?

Thanks.

Press start button without starting the car...cycle through and engine oil level will be one of the items displayed.

If you have just stopped from driving, oil level will not be displayed for about 10 minutes...

Oil level not displayed while car is running...

4.2L models (2007-2009) have a dipstick in the engine compartment with a yellow handle. I believe the message center display procedure began with the 5.0L models when the dipstick was eliminated. Audi, BMW, and Porsche eliminated dipsticks years ago because most owners don't use them and manufacturers feel more comfortable knowing that engine oil is being monitored electronically.
