Two quick XK questions..
Since I could not listen to Pandora and other music on my phone, someone on another thread had recommended a cheap alternative, get an FM transmitter (of good quality). Well, to get the transmitter connected, the car receiver has to be tuned to a vacant FM frequency. I dont know how to find a vacant frequency because the receiver just jumps from one station to the next and I cannot get it to an unused frequency. I hope you understand what I am saying. How do I get the receiver to an FM frequency not being used (no radio station)?
On the navigation, I put in my street number and name, got the town and state but then how do you get the navigation unit to start getting the directions? There is no "Go" to touch and get started.
Thanks for your help.

The Bovee 1000 was also mentioned in your other thread. I use the Bovee to listen to Pandora from my phone. Works great.
Maybe yours being a MY07 this doesn't work. I don't know much about the differences between years. Mine is MY12.

The Bovee 1000 attaches to the OEM iPod cable. iPod connectivity became standard equipment beginning with MY09. To add iPod connectivity in MY07and MY08 requires installation of the Audio Connectivity Module, which is no longer available as an accessory but might found on Ebay.

just plug it in, and set it to a preset station, typically a weak one in your area. Use the seek option on the XK lcd screen in the radio prompt screen to match the station thats selected on the FM transmitter. If you have trouble getting the radio to stop on the station, move the car a few feet forward to make it lock. Its working on FM transmission so it takes some trial and error, but once you’re locked, its all fun! Cool part is, if you have music saved on a USB drive, just plug it in, and it will also transmit it to through the radio. Sounds better than standard FM radio too.
