Upgraded car, now have bluetooth question
Hi all, I just upgraded my 03 XJR for a nice 07 XKR Coupe'. I thought it would be hard to love a car more than my XJR...Not so much. :-)
I've tried 2 phones with the car and both have the same symptoms. (I already checked the compatibility data, my phone isn't listed.)
I can pair the phones & car just fine, address books work, dialing works. The issue is the screen shows you in a call, but the only way to talk is on the phone itself. It never transfers to the speakers/microphone in the car.
I'm wondering if this might be a legit problem. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks!

Cheers,
I am an idiot! I just went back through the manual and found the setting.
Once a call has been initiated and is active, you can click settings and select privacy to not-handset. Works perfectly now.
Sorry to randomize you folks.
