Interesting. I found this too. I did this on my 07 using the 7" screen intended for the XF with an XK harness. Screen worked the same as the Tesla but none of the OEM buttons/ Controls worked on the panel beneath it so I'd like to reach out to the seller. Ultimately is was just a smaller version of the Tesla screen with the same issues. Don't know why they would only be for 2012 onward either but..
