Upper & Lower Pulley on a 5.0
Quick one here, I've already got the 7.5% reduction upper pulley from powerhouse and a tune, the Eurotoys lower pulley is arriving this week and I'll get a tune for both, I've done a fair bit of reading up on this and I'm convinced I'm not gonna need the Charge cooler upgrade living in Ireland where the average yearly temp is 10c and summer Max is 25c (for about 2 days) Thoughts on this?
Is there anyone with over 600hp on a 5.0 not running the upgraded Charge Cooler?
Cheers chaps.

An uprated charge cooler's going to make a difference with heat soak in very high temps, either ambient or from prolonged hard driving such as endurance racing on a track. For normal driving, even with increased power you're not likely to ever push it hard enough continuously to get it so hot that charge air becomes too hot.
Thanks

I have only had the upper pulley changed so I will be interested to see how you get on with both.
But I have bigger intercooler and zzp performance supercharger water pump (the second not yet installed).

Superb result!
I personally know a guy who used to be in this forum who did both pulleys. He stated that it lowered the performance even with a tune because the supercharger reached max output before the engine did. He said it bogged really bad on the top end, even with the best tune.
