Absolutely love it! Its not trying to be witty, condescending, chest-pounding or silly.

You could give the Aston a name, as you would a horse. Something genuinely yours and possibly your interpretation of the object's persona.
Barbaro, Dynaformer, Ruffian, Nearco......

Not into naming objects, but do you think PETRUS or LAFITE would be tacky choice on my Aston. I don't want to do any play on James Bond stuff.

Just looks like your own personal names to me.
So your wife owns the top one and you have your own weird nickname on the bottom one.

I know what you mean and agree the Bond cliches are cringeworthy.

Petrus or Lafite are not tacky in any way. If anything a humble association, only to those in the know and does not look down on anyone.

Ultimately its what it does for you that is important.

BTW has anyone ever wondered why Trump has always put his name on the side of all his vehicles and even buildings.

Mosesbotol - I also love the themed plates!
But now you have to choose your car color based on your next plate.
Imagine the color you'd have get for CHRDNAY or SAV BLANC.

That leaves you and saying something that reflects something about you in seven letters or less. Good Luck!

Just don't make it too simple, e.g., JAG; or too much about who you are, e.g., HIIMTIM
(for the 9 out of 10 that don't get that, it's Hi I'm Tim)
Good points, for sure. But speaking of the 9 out of 10 test (OK, maybe it's the 4 out of 5 test)... just know that 9 out of ten people who see a plate that reads BUFF52 assume it's some dude bragging about his Post-Divorce Gym Bod...

Ok, so you make some valid points, but but but what's the point of growing old if you don't have something to look forward to?
Hell, what male (with testosterone) didn't want Hef's lifestyle when he grew up?
Now that I'm an old fart, those damn "metoo'ers" are stompin' all over those that we hoped to emulate...
Oh well, maybe go for some highway entertainment, like FLASHME, FLASHEM, SHOWEM...?
The wife wants to move to CA, so maybe I should just consider pissing off the tree huggers out there with GUZZLE, or BURNGAS.
Ok, you can return me to the loony bin now...

That's exactly the problem I had!

So I switched to BOMB52--it even has a B next to 52 to help out that poor #10 guy who normally wouldn't get it.

Well, if ya ask ME, "#" has always meant "pound", so "#metoo" has a completely different meaning.

Didn't all the trees in California go up in smoke the past couple of years kj? I think those folks are now mud sliders.

Ha.

MA is limited to six digits. Merlot and Porto are taken.

Just a heads up, we all have different perspectives.

Chardonay and Sauvigon Blanc are very popular hooker names.

Thanks again for all the insights and suggestions folks. And the other stories as well, it's fun to see other peoples ideas. Based on all that, and what I keep circling back too, I really leaning towards "SHOP CAT". But "MY XBOX" and now "UR TOUNG" are close behind. I would have gone with "FARM CAT", and while I live out in the country, I'm not on a farm, and so I didn't feel it quite fit. I still like "NICE KTY", but I agree it does sound a little creepy coming from a middle age man.

UR TOUNG

Your Tongue? As in MY tongue? Don't get it. (You're too young?)

Once again I made one leap to far. It’s another cat phrase. “Cat’s got your tongue.” The idea being that the stunning beauty of the cat/Jaguar would make you speechless. But I guess with out working “got” in there somehow it doesn’t work on its own. I’m guessing that would have been about a 3/10 or less in understanding. And I don’t think “GT UR TNG” would make any sense at all. So, I probably won’t follow through with this line of thought. This is why I’m glad I chose to use the forum as a sounding board. It’s a whole lot easier to suss out my dumb ideas now, then after it is on the car.

Different world almost overnight.
You cant say anything about tongue in kitty. Or even just kitty or tongue.

Remember when we could compliment a lady that she was making your tongue hard.
Not these days.

Since you folks are still nice enough to humor me, a couple more. BRIT CAT, and T ANY1 (T ANYONE was also available, but I like the short version for a license plate). KEP CALM was also available, but I think that will be a short lived reference.

I promise I won't keep going forever, probably should send the paperwork in either late this week, or early next.
