I have this same vibration in my accelerator pedal on the 2008 Stype 4.2 it is very noticeable as a high frequency vibration in the pedal when feathering the accelerator at 30-40 mph. The way you drive in city traffic. It is not there on acceleration and not their on the highway on cruise control. Hard to describe but it is there. I have done the transmission oil change. No effect, rear end Oil change no effect. I have had the car for almost 2 years and 30,000 km. and it has never changed. I have a 2004 XK8 with the same power train and do not have the issue.
